Visiting Stone Mountain provides the angler with more than 17 miles of streams packed with rainbow, brown, and brook trout. Fishing

The East Prong of Roaring River is a stocked stream, fishing is allowed harvesting fish is only allowed four months out of the year. Bullhead and Rich Mountain creeks, both are considered fish for fun. Two accessible fishing piers also provides an enjoyable fishing experience for the entire family regardless of skill level.

Park fishing is strictly on a catch and release basis only, requiring barbless flies, unless otherwise noted. Fishing is permitted daily, a valid fishing license and park permit are required.
