Stone Mountain Stone Mountain State Park is most commonly known for it’s 600 foot granite dome, exposed by years of erosion creating the park’s historic monument. The Mountain Culture Exhibit, Hutchinson Homestead, and Garden Creek Church offer visitors the opportunity to hear stories of how settlers created a sustainable lifestyle, see a complete mid-19th century log cabin symbolic of the early settlers, and an original church established in 1897 free from any major renovations.
